As the tenure of our club’s current leadership team comes to an end, I wholeheartedly look back over the past two years with deep gratitude, as well as great hope for Village Republican Women’s future.  Despite all the obstacles and roadblocks that crossed our path over the past two years, our club achieved more than I could have hoped for even in so-called normal times.   

Every November we celebrate two major holidays, Veteran’s Day and Thanksgiving, which brings to mind service and gratitude.  On Thanksgiving, we celebrate our good fortune to be Americans and all of our God-given gifts and graces—most especially life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  

What’s Your Long Game? Looking Forward to the Midterm Election This time next year we’ll be in the home stretch of the 2022 midterm election. As we kick off the 2022 campaign season, we find ourselves very much in unchartered waters.  The news out of Afghanistan is shocking and very scary.  In all this chaos that surrounds us, both abroad and at home, I am reminded of our December speaker, WHAM CEO Mark Brown’s wise message to remember our national motto, “In God We Trust.”  There’s a link to Mark’s talk in our January newsletter………
