Salute to Veterans

Federated in 1961 and located in Houston, Texas, The Village Republican Women's Club (VRW) has supported Republican candidates and principles since its inception. Our members provide financial as well as volunteer support at local and state levels. Individually members are also involved in national issues and campaigns. We are a force in Harris County and the state of Texas due to the relationships we have formed with elected officials, our knowledge of key issues and the tireless work of VRW members. Republican candidates, as well as party insiders and officials, find it important to schedule appearances at our monthly meetings.

Through the years, voter registration has been a prime focus of our club. We have participated in block walks and set up booths in various locations, all to encourage more of our neighbors to become involved in the political process. We have stuffed bags with campaign literature, hosted candidate forums, manned phone banks and assisted in Get Out the Vote (GOTV) projects, all in an effort to promote Republican causes.
