As we kick off the 2022 campaign season, we find ourselves very much in unchartered waters.  The news out of Afghanistan is shocking and very scary.  In all this chaos that surrounds us, both abroad and at home, I am reminded of our December speaker, WHAM CEO Mark Brown’s wise message to remember our national motto, “In God We Trust.”  There’s a link to Mark’s talk in our January newsletter………

Even in the dog days of summer, our VRW members are highly engaged—whether it be in politics, philanthropy, community, schools, and our families.  Heading into 2022, not only are our members getting more active, we seem to be seeing a great awakening among liberty-minded people across all walks of life.

We Americans love the summertime.  We love our hot Texas barbecues, bright blue pools, lemonade, red and white checkered tablecloths—basically all things America and all things Texas.  After this season of lockdowns and some would say government overreach, I’m guessing you—like me—are even more appreciative of our freedom and the American way of life.    As we rest and ponder over the summer, let’s think about our future and why we are members of Village Republican Women.  No doubt our common bonds...
