Our Freedoms and Liberties are Worth Defending Over the years, we have taken our kids on many iconic family trips. One we often remember is a trip to the Statue of Liberty on the 4th of July. 

NFRW and TFRW award deadlines have kept your Board very busy. I am proud of this club because we will be turning in to NFRW over 36,000 volunteer hours collected for 2022-2023. Village Republican Women continues to champion our conservative causes! The 88th Legislative Session runs through May 29 and it is actually just beginning. It is not too late to get involved in whatever capacity you like – whether it is calling friends and family encouraging them to call their representative about important bills, going to Austin to attend meetings (no experience necessary), or testifying before a House or Senate committee, your work is important!

The bluebonnets and flowers are everywhere! Happy Easter, spring is finally here! Have you renewed your membership? Village members run for local, city, and state offices. They speak with Elected Officials on issues, register voters, serve as Precinct Chairs in our elections, and promote the ideas of the Republican Party. You do not want to miss the March 22rd meeting. Our speaker, Chris Zook, will be talking about the “Indoctrination of our Kids.” Reservations will close Friday, March 17. Be sure to make your reservations early, as our lunches have sold out with a waitlist. Let’s Make a Difference Together   Every two years, our State Legislature meets for 140 days in regular session. This time, TFRW Legislative Day is Friday, February 3rd, and will launch the 88th Legislative Session. Several members are traveling to Austin and will attend Educational Workshops to help us develop our legislative skills.
