Steve Munisteri to Speak at November Meeting
Election season is upon us! But these days it seems there is always a political contest taking place, or looming just over the horizon. It is easy to get complacent about the importance of elections when they seem to be taking place, one right after the other. However, many pundits agree that the outcome of the 2014 mid-term elections will be a strong indication of the country’s future direction.
Here, this month, to discuss efforts aimed at increasing the number of Republican voters in our state and the necessary strategy to turn them out in this crucial election will be Republican Party of Texas (RPT) Chairman, Steve Munisteri. A native Houstonian and Party activist since 1972, Chairman Munisteri has always appreciated the importance of Republican grassroots efforts.
RPT Chairman since 2010, Steve has put the Party back on firm financial footing and taken a long view on growing our ranks, finding electable conservatives to run for office and seeking common ground within state G.O.P. circles. His vision is aimed at making sure our state stays Red for the foreseeable future.
