Sandy Froman to Speak at February Meeting
Are we safer in our churches, malls, schools and theaters because there are signs posted banning guns? That is a question that this month’s speaker, Sandy Froman, will be here to answer and explain. A current board member and past president of the National Rifle Association, Ms. Froman will bring a wealth of personal and professional knowledge to this debate.
Professionally speaking, Sandy is a Harvard-educated attorney. However, that was of little use to her when confronted by an attempted home invasion robbery while living in Los Angeles. In response to that frightening event, she instead chose to become a gun owner and avid proponent of the Constitutional right to keep and bear arms.
Froman was raised in the San Francisco, California Bay Area, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics with distinction from Stanford University in 1971 and a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School in 1974. She has been a practicing attorney since that time, has been a partner in three separate law firms and also taught at law school. Froman serves on the boards of the University of Arizona’s law school, as well as George Mason University School of Law. ~ Wikipedia
Ms. Froman will be at our February meeting to talk about whether gun control laws work and what we can do to make our communities safer from violent criminals. Come be a part of the conversation taking place on the role of private gun ownership in America!
