Please accept this letter as an expression of thanks on behalf
of my family for the generous contribution made by the Village
Republican Women toward the Memorial Scholarship Endowment in
Nursing has been established in the name of my sister, Ann
Lucia, by Texas Woman’s University.

Please be aware that this scholarship has now been fully
funded in the amount of Twenty-Five Thousand and No/100 Dollars
($25,000.00) and that a deserving nursing student will be the
recipient of the income from the endowment in the fall of 2021 or
the spring of 2022.

You may be interested to know that my family moved to the
Memorial area in 1952 prior to the time when Hunter’s Creek Village
was incorporated and we lived in our home for nearly twenty (20)
years. You should also be aware that my sister was a devoted
Republican and would be very proud to know that an organization of
your stature has made a contribution in her name.

Thank you again for your generosity in donating a contribution
to the Ann E. Lucia, Ph.D., Memorial Scholarship and for all of the
good works that your organization endeavors to achieve.
