Easter Blessings!
Caring for America Committee Chair Mary Grace Landrum spearheaded efforts to ensure children and families of West Houston Assistance Ministries (WHAM) will be able to enjoy the Easter they deserve. In the true spirit of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and looking out for our most precious children, Mary Grace, her team of volunteers, and Village Republican Women Members contributed over $1445, and supplies to fill 75 Easter Baskets.
On March 6th the team of volunteers shared lots of laughs and special moments while putting together the baskets and delivering them to WHAM. On March 30th, the baskets and grocery gift cards will be distributed by VRW and volunteers to the children and families selected by WHAM, just in time to celebrate one of our most sacred Christian holidays.
