April Meeting – Dr. Neil Frank
We are pleased to have Dr. Neil Frank as our guest speaker for the April meeting. Dr. Frank will counter the climate extremism that is dangerous to America and our freedoms.
Neil started his meteorology career in the weather program at the Air Force. He then earned his Master’s Degree and Ph.D. in meteorology from Florida State University and joined the National Weather Service in 1961.
He was the Director of the National Hurricane Center (NHC) for 13 years prior to accept the position of Chief Meteorologist at the CBS Television station in Houston Texas (KHOU-TV) and retired in 2008.
Dr. Frank has published over 40 papers and has been featured in publications including the National Geographic, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Times and Newsweek. While Director of NHC, he was a regular guest on the Today Show, Good Morning America, CBS Morning News, The Larry King Show, CNN and all of the Evening News Shows.
Neil married his childhood sweetheart in 1952. They have three grown children, ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
